This is quite a long story, best watched on a large screen TV, from a comfortable armchair. It tells the story of the two Blue Lakes in northeast Tasmania. Starting as tin and gold mines in the 1880s, in the days of shallow lead sluicing, to 1930-1950s when deep lead mining was employed. Finally in the 1970-1980s large scraper equipment was used to remove the surface for tin and gold.
