A 100 metre cordon and road closures are now in place around the building site where the ordnance was discovered. An Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) was found at a construction site yesterday evening. Our SAF Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the 36th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineers (36 SCE), was activated and assessed the UXO to be a high explosive projectile. The UXO was transported offsite and safely disposed by our SAF EOD team this morning.
