Do you regularly opt for erythritol as a blood-sugar friendly sweetener? You may need to reconsider. New research suggests consumption of erythritol could mean higher oxidative stress and reduced nitric oxide, both of which impair cardiovascular and metabolic health. Findings even connect high circulating erythritol with increased clot risk.
