money is such a common source of contention. each individual values money differently as explained in the video. how does this affect the relationship? let's look at two examples ➡️ if someone had the language of SECURITY and they are married to someone whose language is STATUS, the status spouse may want a new car, but the security spouse fells anxious, not wanting that big car payment. if they decide to not get the car, the security spouse is "suffocating" the language of the status spouse. ➡️
